Many island restaurants take orders by phone or WhatsApp and some deliver with their own rider. It works, but each one has its own number, hours and payment options, and they do not always deliver outside the centre.
There are few ATMs on the island and not every business takes cards, so carry some cash.

What to eat in Holbox
Holbox is a fishing town: fresh fish and seafood, ceviche, tacos and the famous lobster pizza. There are also bakeries, breakfast cafés and Yucatecan cooking.
Mexican Caribbean lobster has a closed season from 1 March to 30 June so it can breed. In those months, ask where the lobster comes from or pick another dish: it is an easy way to protect the island fishery.
Ordering to the beach
You can mark the spot on the beach where you are on the map. Riders go as far as the roads go; in protected areas they deliver to the nearest point. Please do not leave packaging on the sand.
